Green Vitamin Boost with a Kick

This isn't a sweet, mild smoothie. This is a smoothie with a kick.

Fresh spinach, green apple, a pinky-sized piece of ginger, a little red chili, and the juice and zest of a lemon or lime – blended with cold water, ice cubes, and POW unflavored whey protein. The result is fresh, green, and invigorating in a way that feels almost undeserved for something that takes three minutes to make. Add 3–5 grams of POW creatine for an extra strength boost.

INGREDIENTS (for 1 serving)

  • 1 dl POW unflavored whey protein
  • A large handful of fresh spinach
  • 3 dl cold water
  • 1 green apple, preferably Granny Smith
  • 1 pinky-sized piece of ginger
  • 1 lemon or lime – juice and zest
  • A small piece of red chili
  • A large handful of ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Blend everything in a powerful blender until smooth.
  • Pour and enjoy.
