Protein fluff. It looks like meringue. It tastes like vanilla mousse. It's neither – but it doesn't matter because it's ridiculously good.
POW vanilla casein, egg white and a little cold water. Whisk with an electric mixer for two to three minutes and watch it transform into a large mountain of the fluffiest fluff. Top with blueberries and lemon zest if you want to feel a little extra. You do. If you can't tolerate egg whites, replace them with more milk or water – it works just as well, we promise.
INGREDIENTS (for 1-2 people)
- 1 dl POW vanilla casein
- 1 dl cold water or milk
- 1 dl egg white
For serving (optional but recommended):
- Blueberries
- Lemon zest
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix casein, water (or milk) and egg white in a bowl.
- Whisk with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes until it's a really fluffy fluff.
- Eat immediately. Top with blueberries and lemon zest if you're the kind of person who tops things. You probably are.
Tip: If you can't tolerate egg whites, replace them with 1 dl milk or water. Just as fluffy, just as good.
