There are days when you want something baked without actually wanting to bake. This recipe is for those days. No fuss, no butter to measure, no dough to knead until your arms give out. You just mix everything, spoon it onto a baking sheet, and pop it in the oven. Twenty minutes later, you have warm, cheesy scones with a good protein content – and probably more time left in the morning than you expected.

Ingredients (approx. 8 scones):

  • 2 dl wheat flour
  • 1 dl POW Whey Protein Unflavored
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2.5 dl Greek yogurt
  • 0.5 dl milk
  • Grated cheese for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Mix wheat flour, whey protein, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add Greek yogurt and milk. Stir together to form a smooth dough – it should be a bit sticky, that's intentional.
  4. Spoon the dough into eight mounds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Top with grated cheese.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until the scones are golden and cooked through.
