Glenn Boström

I'm 51 years old, work as a project manager for a government agency, and referee floorball in my spare time. I also do a lot of running and CrossFit; I like to feel strong and have good stamina, both for the matches and for myself.

I have two children, Charles, 15, and Tilde, 13, and I'm in a committed relationship with Lina but we don't live together. Life is quite busy, so whatever I do needs to be simple and fit into my daily routine.

My relationship with protein has been a bit on-and-off over the years. I've wanted to make it a natural part of my diet, but honestly, the taste has often been an issue. Many powders are either too sweet or just taste artificial. And if I don't notice a clear effect, then I lose interest.

How does Glenn use protein?

Most often, I have a shake after training, mixed with milk or water. With the right powder in milk, it can almost feel like a milkshake, and then I'm sold. I've thought many times that I should mix it into porridge or quark too, but it hasn't really become a habit.

Flavor-wise, I tend to go for classics like chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. Lemon was actually a positive surprise, very refreshing. Coffee, on the other hand… I skip that one.

For me, protein should be uncomplicated, taste good, and do its job. Then it becomes part of the routine.
