Tell us, who are you?
I live a life full of bikes — both professionally and in my free time. Cycling and running are the mainstays of my training, but I say yes to most challenges. In recent years, I've also added more strength training. The goal is simple: never having to say no to something fun because my body can't keep up.
Just like Sofie, I have a weakness for Ironman — so far, the count is 6, but as Yngwie says: "How can less be more? More is always more!" So there will surely be more.
At home, my wife, two teenagers, and miniature schnauzer Greta await. Life is moving at full speed, and with a job that requires a fair bit of travel, it's important to make everything work.
What's your relationship with protein?
With a lot of training on the schedule, protein needs to go in — and it has varied over the years. Often, it's probably been a bit too little. And when you're no longer 20 (45 years old, is that really me?), it's clearer that you need to think a bit more to both have the energy and stay in one piece.
Today, I boost my breakfast with extra protein and gladly have a shake after tough sessions. It's also practical as a snack when traveling — who doesn't like some POW coffee protein along the way?
Give us your favorite recipe!
My favorite is morning porridge with Unflavored and lots of blueberries. Quick, simple — exactly what's needed in the morning. I've also started trying Anna's protein cookie doughs as a snack, really convenient. And nice cream — the one I've tried so far was absolutely magical, so I'll be mixing more.
Favorite flavor?
Clear Whey Pink Grapefruit, shaken with a few ice cubes like a luxurious lemonade. And coffee — with a generous splash of espresso, it always hits the spot. Furthermore, I look forward to helping develop the next favorite flavor.
Which flavor do you like the least and why?
So far, everything has delivered. I promise to get back to you if, by some chance, I'm disappointed.
