Jessica Unogård

I am a 43-year-old mother of two and a fitness coach. My days are filled with training – my own training for long challenges and to stay strong (I’m running my first 100-mile race this summer). I love being able to run looong distances, while also loving being able to lift myself and heavy objects. I also coach my clients towards various goals and train my daughters, two young but ambitious gymnasts.

My relationship with protein has become increasingly intense over the years. As I've learned more and noticed what it does for both my and my clients' development and recovery, my own intake and my advocacy for it to others have intensified. I love how easy it is to consume "on the go" and the benefits it provides.

How does Jessica use protein?

I make sure to have protein in/with all my meals. In my porridge or smoothie in the morning. As a supplement (clear whey) to less protein-rich meals like the kids' pancakes, and of course as a snack after workouts.

A scoop of vanilla in all kinds of smoothies or porridge. Since I use it so often, it needs to be simple. Not 10 ingredients that you can't bother with.

Vanilla and clear whey lemon are my absolute favorites!
